2026 SWU Poker Night – High Stakes, Higher Spirits

Ready to swap your hockey stick for a poker face? Join us for an evening where the stakes are high, the laughs are hearty, and the only thing sharper than the cards is the banter around the table!

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just bluffing your way through, all are welcome! Will Peter Cox be champion again?

Prizes for the winners will be awarded on the night! SWU Poker night is suitable for ages 15 and above!

Date: Saturday, 9th May 2026
Time: 6:00pm for 6:30pm start
Venue: 67 Maculata Drive, Chapel Hill 4069
Cost: $50 (gets you $50 worth of poker chips). Further buy ins can be organised and paid for on the night by card.
BYO: Drinks and nibbles
RSVP: Ensure you register before Thursday 7th May for catering purposes.
Dinner provided: BBQ

2026 Cake Stall Saturday 23rd May

Join the SWUHC Fundraising Dream Team!


We’re on the lookout for two enthusiastic club members to take the lead in coordinating our much-loved Downey Park Cake Stall & BBQon Saturday 23rd May.


🥧 Cake Stall Coordinator

  • Inspire members to bake, make, or donate goodies.
  • Rally volunteers to help on the day.
  • Distribute packaging and labels.
  • Coordinate the stall with the support of experienced members (fresh ideas welcome!).

🍔 BBQ Coordinator

  • Encourage members to donate gift cards for ingredients.
  • Plan and prepare for bacon & egg burgers and sausage sizzle.
  • Coordinate the BBQ on the day using last year’s records for guidance.

  • Date:Saturday 23rd May
  • Time:7am -2 pm.
  • Note: If you have game time clashes, we’ll arrange cover so you don’t miss out.

💡 You’ll have plenty of support, clear records from past events, and the chance to put your own stamp on two of our most popular fundraisers.
